Le Dar el médina bénéficie d'un emplacement idéal dans le quartier de la médina de Tunis, à 17 km du musée archéologique Salammbo Tophet, à 400 mètres du musée Dar Lasram et à 500 mètres de la place... I cannot add anything more positive to say about Dar El Medina that hasn't already been said. But I think special recognition should be given to all the staff I encountered who were friendly, professional and more than willing to give that extra something. This especially applies to Nede, who first checked me in and provided the historical perspective of the building. Also, the chef, Slah, not only cooked me an excellent dinner of fish couscous but talking with him in English was both enlightening and a pleasure. Finally, I wish to give extra mention to the awesome breakfast that was provided by a smiling Safa every morning. Not only was the breakfast delicious but also extremely filling. I would surely return to Dar El Medina given a chance.

Beautiful and well maintained with traditional decor. You can feel it has a soul and looks spotless. Every corner is worth stopping and photographing. Restaurant team on the rooftop who spoke English (boy) was very welcoming and very excited to see us - this type of warm welcome we would expect from reception team. Door on rooftop restaurant was excellent, we stayed 6 hours from lunch to dinner with our friends and enjoyed view, service and food very much. Will come back and recommend.

Centrally located with spacious rooms and informative staff. There are free parking, local restaurants and mini markets in the street. We received help to call an airport taxi through Bolt application at 4AM (FYI the price was 17TND, the trip took less than 20 minutes).

Situé à 17 km du musée archéologique de Salammbo Tophet, le Dar Dorra propose une terrasse, un bar ainsi que des hébergements climatisés avec une terrasse et une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite. Everything was amazing. All the staff, from reception to the waiters and waitresses, were very kind and always happy to help. The spa/hamman is great to relax. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet. As for the location, Dar Dorra is in the middle of the medina, very conveniently close to the souk and the Kasba. Easy also to pick a taxi to go anywhere. I will definitely come back here.
